When is my payment late?

Payments are due on the first of the month and are late if received after that date. However, you have a 15-day grace period before late fees are assessed. If your payment is not received by the 16th of the month, a late fee will be assessed. Any payment over 30 days delinquent will be reported to the credit bureau as late. Partial payments can also create a late reporting to the credit bureau if the remittance amount is short by $4.00 or more.

To help in making your payment on time CalVet offers the Electronic Funds Transfer program. For more information, call 800-700-2127 or 916-503-8356.
