Women Veterans

Welcome to the CalVet Women Veterans page!

California is home to over 185,000 women who have served in the U.S. military. They are not only veterans; they are also family members, friends, business owners, professionals, community leaders, and advocates. Women have served in every major U.S. conflict and in peacetime. For this they are owed a great debt of gratitude.

The mission of the CalVet division for Women Veterans Affairs is to provide information, advocacy, outreach and support to women veterans and their families.

CalVet Women Veterans Media Survey

Our mission at CalVet is to be the State's leading advocate and resource so Veterans and their families can achieve their highest quality of life.

The CalVet Women Veterans Media Survey will help the CalVet Division for Women Veterans Affairs:

  • Identify the types of Veteran-related information you currently receive.
  • Identify how you receive Veteran-related information through the internet and social media.

By completing this survey, you will help connect women Veterans to benefits and services.
